Alhamdulillah this month was spent delivering food and water to communities in need. After distributing Qurbani in our June update, this month, we began preparing for our next campaign.
Hot Meals in Gaza
Alhamdulillah we distributed thousands of hot meals in the Gaza Strip. Having worked in Palestine since 2013, we have built strong connections in the region. Thanks to this, we were able to source rice and feed families nutritious meals. You can find out more about how we are sending food into Gaza here. As the situation worsens, we are continuously raising funds and distributing hot meals. Please give whatever you are able to. Every pound counts towards feeding our brothers and sisters in need.
Gaza Water Distribution
As the population in Gaza continues to struggle every single day, we were able to provide clean water. Alhamdulillah, we distributed 15,000 litres of clean water for families to use.
Afghanistan Water Well
Water is a basic human right, but for many communities, it's still not easily accessible. Thanks to your donations, we were able to build a water well in Afghanistan, which will give a community access to clean water. This will help improve sanity and lower the spread of waterborne diseases.
Pakistan Water Pump
Many families in Pakistan struggle to access clean drinking water. Our hand pumps give families access to water, so they no longer have to walk miles. You can donate a water pump in Pakistan here.
Tekiya Distribution
As many in Gaza resort to eating leaves or going days without food, your donations gave urgently needed food. We were able to feed those living in camps who were starving. Your donations fed families, including children and the elderly.
