55 million people in East Africa are severely food insecure.
Millions in East Africa are facing immense challenges. Starvation, caused by the climate crisis, ongoing conflict and lack of sustainable livelihoods, threatens millions of people every single day. Rising food prices make it increasingly difficult for people to feed their families, while some of the worst droughts have disrupted agricultural productivity, which makes up the majority of livelihoods in East Africa. As a result, 55.3 million people across the region are severely food insecure. GRF is providing aid to people in Somalia, Tanzania, Uganda and Kenya during this food crisis. Donate now and help vulnerable people in need.
