Night Light Aid: Keep Families Safe

During the nights, there is no lighting near camps, so it remains pitch black. WASH facilities are 10 - 15 feet away from camps, so people have no choice but to venture out into the darkness. Unfortunately, there has been a rise in gender-based violence in recent years, with women and girls targeted when using sanitation facilities at night.

GRF has implemented Night Light Aid to combat this by installing streetlights in the area and distributing flashlights to improve lighting. The project aims to meet the urgent needs of women and children, improving safety, sanitation and overall well-being within camps. But we need your help to continue this work.
