Unity in Prayer: Mussallah Construction in Gaza
GRF constructed prayer areas in time for Ramadan.
With mosques in Gaza damaged or destroyed, worshippers have been congregating in the streets, praying among the rubble. We constructed prayer areas in Gaza, bringing worshippers together and providing a place to pray in Ramadan. This project was implemented to bring unity to Gazans during this blessed month.
In total, our team built 4 prayer areas in Gaza.
The largest was in Khan Younis and had a maximum capacity of 1,000 worshippers. The remaining 3 were in Gaza and had a capacity of up to 300 worshippers at a time.
“Thank you to Global Rahmah Foundation for organising this prayer area. May Allah reward you with goodness.”
We're delighted with this project and its outcome.
During Ramadan, everyone deserves a place where they can come to pray; a place where they can recite Quran, pray their salah and experience the beautiful atmosphere that Ramadan brings. Our team on the ground is working hard to help people in Gaza, and we really felt this project would beenfit the community alongside food parcels and hot meals for iftar. Thank you to everyone who helped make this happen. People in Gaza thank you, too.

GRF is using our existing network to distribute aid in Gaza. We're delivering hot meals, food parcels and we're hoping to do more once able to. You can be a part of something great and help a community in dire need. Donate to Gaza and save lives.
