Where to Donate in Ramadan

Ramadan Donations

As Ramadan 2025 approaches, many Muslims will find themselves asking 'where shall I donate in Ramadan' or 'which project should I donate to'? Our team at Global Rahmah Foundation is distributing your aid to those in need during Ramadan 2025, in the same way we have every Ramadan. We have broken down our projects to make it easier for you to decide where to donate.

Water Project

Water is an issue which has long plagued Yemen, Gaza, India, Pakistan, Africa, Afghanistan, and Syrian, Palestinian, and Rohingya refugees, with fresh water supplies into many cities being cut, leaving residents only with water deemed unfit for human consumption. It is often polluted and causes many waterborne illnesses and diarrhoea. The only solution is to drink purified water. However, this is considered a luxury by most people in these places. GRF provides water aid to camps and people in need. The whole family can use this water for drinking, cooking and sanitation. You can choose to donate a water pump, well or tank. Distributing clean water saves lives.

Feed the Fasting

Feed the Fasting is one of GRF’s annual projects. We provide needy people with a hot, nutritious iftar meal to break their fast with. Iftar is usually communal where we invite local people in need to join in a community meal. We also provide family iftar, which is delivered to their homes, giving the whole family a hot, wholesome meal. We are providing food for the fasting in many countries including Palestine, Pakistan and more.

Food Parcels

Food parcels are a necessary staple for every family, providing them with long-lasting foods that they can ration and cook as needed. Parcels provide a family of 6 with food for up to 3 weeks. Items have high nutritious value and a long shelf life, which is perfect as many people do not have refrigerators/freezers and rely on such foods. The contents vary depending on the country of distribution, but the following staples are generally included in each parcel: oil, sugar, flour or rice and canned foods. You can give a food parcel here. Prices start at £50 and will vary between countries.

Suhoor Meal

Many people, including Syrian and Palestinian refugees and those in Gaza, struggle to access food to open and close their fasts. They are left with non-nutritional and basic foods such as bread and dates. GRF wants to ensure they have a good, wholesome meal at dawn to set them up for a long, hard day of fasting. We provide nutritious meals at Suhoor to needy individuals so they can retain their energy levels and health.

Eid Gifts

GRF wants to ensure that orphaned children do not miss out on the joys of Eid this year. We are providing orphaned or needy children with a special gift on Eid! Give an Eid gift today.

Implementation Time

We aim to implement projects as soon as we are able to. This includes purchasing the contents/ingredients for food parcels, meals and gifts, packaging/cooking and distributing to needy individuals. The installation and refills of water tanks are also included.

Ramadan Charity Appeals 2025

Ramadan is a particularly difficult period for people blighted by poverty. With the rising cost of goods in many developing countries and a lack of income due to war or conflict, many needy individuals in regions such as Yemen, Gaza, India, Pakistan, Africa and Afghanistan are struggling to survive. This is without mentioning the vulnerable Syrian, Palestinian, and Rohingya refugees.

Many lack simple resources such as safe, clean drinking water and food. GRF has teams on the ground ready to distribute essential aid to those in need, but we need help to go further during Ramadan as too many people continue to suffer—your donation for Ramadan matters.
