Ramadan Timetable

Take a look at Global Rahmah Foundation’s Ramadan 2025 timetable to determine when Ramadan is set to fall and when important times of the day are likely to take place. Since the Islamic year follows the lunar calendar, the dates shift slightly each year, which also affects the number of daylight hours. That’s where our Ramadan timetable in the UK comes in to estimate when Ramadan 2025 is likely to fall and confirm this nearer the time.
How Long Does Ramadan Last?
Ramadan lasts anywhere from 29 to 30 days, depending on the moonsighting.
Ramadan Dates
In 2025, Ramadan is set to fall on the evening of Friday 28 February and end on Sunday 30 March. Of course, these dates are subject to change and will be confirmed nearer the time by the moonsighting.
Ramadan Fasting Times
During Ramadan, Muslims are required to fast during the daylight hours. The exact times will vary depending on which area of the UK you live in. This Ramadan, the sun is likely to rise anywhere between 5:30 am and 7 am and set anywhere between 5:30 pm and 7:30 pm. As a result, fasting will take place within these times.
Ramadan 2025 Suhoor Time
Suhoor is the meal that Muslims eat before opening their fast to prepare them for the day ahead without water or food. It’s important to consume this meal before the sun rises, so the Suhoor time in 2025 will likely be before 5:30 in the morning.
Ramadan 2025 Iftar Time
Iftar is the meal that Muslims eat to break their fast to replenish themselves after a day without water or food. They consume this meal once the sun has set, so the iftar time in 2025 will likely be after 7:30 in the evening.
Ramadan Prayer Times 2025
Even when it’s not Ramadan, Muslims are required to pray five times a day. They pray Fajr at dawn, Zuhr in the afternoon, Asr in the evening, Maghrib in the evening, and Isha at night. In addition to these compulsory prayers (Salah), Muslims may also choose to engage in two voluntary prayers: Taraweeh (only during Ramadan) and Tahajjud. These are both night prayers. Once the relevant information is available, our Ramadan timetable will be updated with the times in which Muslims are supposed to engage in prayer.
