Current situation 

Rima* lives alone. Her mother passed away when she was 12 years old. She has no children, no husband and no siblings. She has no one.

The challenge 

Rima lives in Burj Al Barajneh refugee camp, alongside thousands of others. Her home had been badly affected by damp and no-one could enter it. The smell was so strong it made it difficult for Rima to sleep. 

How did we support?

GRF visited Rima’s house, fixing issues and cleaning the house. The team fixed doors, fixed electricity and built in a new window to increase ventilation and remove the smell. Thanks to this home renovation project, Rima’s home was fixed and her living condition vastly improved.
