As we prepare to enjoy succulent dates this Ramadan, many of our brothers and sisters around the world won’t even receive one the entire month. Many in conflict-affected areas are unable to afford even basic food items and water. Something as simple as dates may be considered a luxury for families in these poverty-stricken countries across the globe.
