Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Program Coordinator to join our team. This role is an exciting opportunity to join our programmes department and work on planning and implementing projects designed to provide humanitarian assistance to those in need. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the NGO and development sector and be able to work pro-actively on developing new partnerships and project funding streams.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement humanitarian projects , ensuring all activities are well-organised and timely.
- Create project proposals.
- Conduct research and development on potential project innovations and responses in GRF’s countries of operation.
- Work in the programmes team to expand strategic partnerships and funding channels including charity partners and institutional funders.
- Maintain accurate recordkeeping of project administration and reporting.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure alignment with organisational goals and objectives.
Experience
- Proven experience in programme coordination or project management is preferred.
- Experience in grant-writing is preferable, but not mandatory.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to educate diverse groups effectively.
- Excellent organisational skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- A background in NGO humanitarian work is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
