Job Title: Fundraising Co-ordinator

Job Summary:

Global Rahmah Foundation is looking for a proactive and organised Fundraiser to join our team. This role focuses on planning and executing fundraising events, building partnerships, and helping organise fundraising challenges to meet our mission-driven goals. The successful candidate will work toward a 1:3 return ratio, aiming to multiply each investment in fundraising activities by generating at least triple the amount raised in funds.

 

Key Responsibilities:

1. Event Planning and Execution

- Plan, coordinate, and oversee fundraising events from concept through completion, ensuring each event aligns with GRF's mission and financial goals.

- Manage all logistics, vendor negotiations, budgets, and staffing needs for each event.

- Track event metrics and outcomes to ensure they meet the 1:3 return ratio objective.

2. University & Student Society Partnerships

- Develop and oversee contracts and partnerships with student societies to encourage their active involvement in fundraising efforts.

- Coordinate and manage collaborative fundraising initiatives with university groups, ensuring consistent communication and effective event planning.

- Provide guidance and support to student societies to maximize their fundraising potential and foster long-term partnerships.

3. Challenge and Campaign Organisation

- Help design, organize, and promote engaging fundraising challenges (such as marathons, trekking challenges, or digital campaigns) to attract individual and group participation.

- Assist participants in reaching their fundraising goals by providing guidance, resources, and ongoing support.

4. Financial Tracking and Goal Setting

- Monitor the effectiveness of all fundraising activities, striving to achieve or exceed the 1:3 fundraising ratio.

- Track and report on income, expenses, and overall ROI for each campaign and event, adjusting strategies as necessary to meet targets.

- Prepare monthly reports detailing fundraising activities, progress, and financial outcomes for senior leadership.

5. Donor Relations and Communication

- Maintain relationships with donors, sponsors, and community partners to ensure ongoing support and involvement.

- Communicate GRF’s impact and program updates through various channels, including newsletters, event speeches, and social media.

- Recognise and thank donors through events, written acknowledgments, and special recognition opportunities.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Proven experience in fundraising, event planning, or donor relations, ideally within a charity or non-profit

- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills

- Ability to meet targets and work towards specific financial goals, ideally with a background in achieving a 1:3 ROI in fundraising

- Proficiency with fundraising software and CRM systems (preferred)

- Willingness to travel and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed

Pay: £30,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
