Alongside the millions that remain in Sudan, 1.5 million+ have been forced to take refuge in nearby countries, including 550,000+ Sudanese refugees in Chad. The vast majority of Sudanese refugees in Chad are women and children. GRF is on the ground in Chad, providing aid to Sudanese refugees who have lost their homes. Your generosity can help provide Sudanese refugees with much needed food, clothing and shelter.
Food for Those in Need
For just £50, you can provide a family of 6 with a vital food parcel that lasts up to 3 weeks. Parcels contain long-lasting items such as rice, flour and sugar which have been carefully selected to provide essential nutrients to beneficiaries.
Clothing & Shelter Equipment
Many refugees have no other clothes to change into – some even wearing the same clothes they arrived in. Your donation of clothing will help them preserve their dignity. £45 can provide women’s clothing, while £30 can provide boys’ or girls’ clothing. Furthermore, your donation of £150 can provide tent equipment for Sudanese refugees. This includes 2 mats, 2 blankets and 2 mosquito nets, helping keep individuals protected during harsh nights.
Sanitary Kits for Women
For £40, you can provide sanitary kits for women. Kits include items such as sanitary towels, soap, body spray and undergarments. These items are vital in helping women preserve their dignity in an already challenging time.
Mother & Baby Kits
Your donation of £35 can provide a mother and baby kit, keeping vulnerable newborns protected during their first moments on earth. Kits contain items such as flour for malnutrition, baby milk and diapers, ensuring babies are given a chance to thrive.
