How can I get involved with GRF?

GRF have many opportunities around the year where you can get involved by volunteering at our fundraising days, stewarding at our events, and even joining our LINK deployment, where you can visit different countries and actively help our on-ground teams.

How can I receive updates?

GRF is an open, accountable and transparent organisation. We strive to keep our donors informed through every stage of our projects through our social media channels, and regular project updates on our website blog and our email newsletters. We value our supporters and work with them collaboratively by allowing them to select the projects they would like their donations to be allocated to.

Does GRF have any partnerships?

GRF is a proud collaborator with local communities, mosques, and tv channels. Additionally, we implement projects for different partners who use our on-ground team collaboratively for their humanitarian endeavours. We are open to partnerships with any organisation whose and vision aligns with GRF’s values.

How can we donate to GRF?

You can visit our Ways to Donate  page which has multiple systems in place for you to donate through a method that suits your convenience best.

Are my donations tax deductible?

Your donations are not tax deductible, unless you opt in for Gift Aid.

Can I join the link deployment if I don’t have any experience?

Of course! You do not need to have any volunteering or humanitarian aid experience to join our LINK deployment. LINK is open to anybody who wishes to join.

What are administration fees?

Administration fees fund the implementation costs for our on-ground team. We also use these fees to pay local businesses, workers, and buy materials or any items necessary for the nature of the donation.

Which projects are Zakat applicable?

GRF follows Islamic ruling and remains objective to align with different schools of thought. Our projects that are certainly Zakat applicable are: Little Rahmah Orphan Sponsorships, Food Parcels, Mother and Baby, Home Restoration, and the Sewing Machine Project (excluding women’s sewing training).
