August Update | Our Work This Month
See GRF's work completed in August 2025.
Alhamdulillah, this month we focused on essentials like food and water, similar to our July update. We also began to implement a brand new community development project for Rohingya refugees in Bangladesh, which we will be sharing more information about very soon.
Gaza Vegetable Parcel Distribution
Hundreds of people in Gaza have died from hunger-related causes, with this figure continuing to rise. Our team was able to distribute vegetable parcels to families in Gaza, providing them with vital nutrients. As the situation in Gaza worsens, your donations continue to send food aid to communities in urgent need.
Mali Water Well Construction
Our team began working on the construction of a water well in Mali. Wells are specifically built in areas where the community don't have regular access to water, so people no longer have to walk endlessly in search of water. Alhamdulillah, the well is able to provide hundreds with clean water every day.
Community Development Project
We began to implement a brand new project, improving safety for Rohingya refugee women & children in Bangladesh. Keep an eye on our blog for more information about this project, as we’ll be announcing it very soon! Alhamdulillah our team has worked hard to implement this project and we pray it will be extremely beneficial for the community.
