Sunday 26th January 2025 marked the 35th edition of the International Marrakech Marathon. Runners from around the world gathered to raise funds for important causes, with the choice of running a half marathon or completing the whole thing. GRF was also present, with our team of runners ready and raring to go.

As the team looked around them, they saw people from all walks of life come together and felt that they were a part of something worthwhile. 21 runners crossed the finish line with GRF, raising vital funds for our Gaza appeal.

“All the children in Gaza [inspired me to take part]. It’s a really important cause.”

"Unbelievable experience! The GRF team made everything so easy, the marathon atmosphere was incredible and I would definitely do it again!"

 

“It’s for such a good cause – for Palestine – so raising that money [was] my main motivation behind doing the race. Also, being able to achieve something like a half-marathon – something that I never thought I’d be able to do. I wanted to push myself.”
