Syrian and Palestinian Refugees in Jordan

More than 2 million Palestinian refugees live in Jordan

Over 600,000 registered Syrian refugees live in Jordan after fleeing for safety from the ongoing civil war – with the actual number predicted to be higher. Additionally, over 2 million Palestinian refugees live in Jordan, with most residing in Jerash Camp, nicknamed the Gaza Camp. Jerash Camp has limited employment opportunities, along with sanitation concerns, degraded waste and infrastructural development. GRF’s team is on the ground, providing aid to Palestinian and Syrian refugees in Jordan
